I need ideas for a Norse-Cisalpine/Italian hybrid culture modeled on the Normans.
I'm doing a run as a Norse adventurer who did a Varangian Adventure against Italy for the Duchy of Lombardy, then he converted to Christianity and swore allegiance to the King of Italy. I've already decided that the hybrid culture should use mostly Italian aesthetics like the Normans mainly used French aesthetics but I'm not sure what traditions, pillars, etc. I'm trying to do a historically authentic playthrough so I want to avoid wacky or implausible scenarios. Any ideas?

One thing you can do as a viking that converted to Christianity is make Catholic shield maidens. The shield maiden culture tradition works with any male dominated religion.
Just look at Sicily in 1066, lol.
@Auçalom Poompaxhotl-Mardxvar those are actual Normans. I'm trying to create a parallel version of the Normans who developed in Italy instead of Northern France

I mean, normans didn't become normans over night (as it mostly happens in the game with a clear distinction of pre-hybridization and post-hybridization cultures), so you can try to bring mostly scandinavian cultural traits: coastal warriors (since your norse/norman warlord would be surrounded by his trusty norse/norman warriors), everything else could also be explained for RP, and then you can switch your traits for more peaceful ones to RP as getting closer to land.
Now, talking about italian culture: spiritual won't really work with pagans who just converted to Christianity, although Formation Fighting Experts and Poetry could be seen as two traits connecting Norse and Italians. CIsalpine communal culture also is questionable, Maritime Mercantilism is great for RP (today you're a trader, tommorow you're a raider, what's the difference anyway?), but won't work in gameplay if you stay in Lombardy-only — as it has no coast, but in Genoa it will work wonders. Republican legacy and norse is a hard thing to imagine, unless you think that Ting would result in some republican traditions. Mountain homes could be explained by norse closeness to Norway's fjords.
