Create own dynasty?

Is there an option to create your own main dynasty? I don't mean a cadet house since its still technically part of the main dynasty. Or if you are the head of the cadet house, can you break off the main dynasty and make your cadet house a separate main dynasty.

How do you do that in-game? If you can't, is there a mod for that?

Besides starting as a ruler that has their own dynasty being the only living member? Dont think it's possible by default.

No I don't believe so since you're either part of an existing Dynasty or it's game over. Even characters whose dynasties didn't even exist at the time still have that as their dynasty for game play purposes.

The closest you could probably get right now is creating a character via the Ruler Creator mod.

They should add that.. It would be pretty cool if we could create our own dynasty with a custom name and coat of arms

It's called Ruler Creator and it's confirmed to be coming.

I might be mistaken, but IIRC this will be a feature coming later on with the Ruler Designer probably, basically the Customization Pack from CK2.

Probably is. I never looked at the specifics since I never even used the official one in CK2.

No they've been fairly silent beyond saying it'll be part of a free patch. I presume it'll work much the same as the one from CK2.

I know I saw some bastard create their own dynasty, not sure if it's something the player can do.

Looks like I have to wait for the Developers' next update then.

But is it really true that Bastards can get their own dynasty? I have some basic knowledge of Debug Mode cheats and Sarc'Fa Ruler Designer mod. Can I just put the 'Bastard' trait on my character and would it give me a decision to create my own dynasty that way?

I really like to create my own dynasty. I wonder if you can even create your own culture for this game just like you are able to create your own religion based of other religion.
