Any game like CK3?

I know, there is a lot of global strat games, but i mean this awesome feel of RPG things like sims. Any games that have this feel like it?

Just ask, wanna try more, maybe with different lore or age time. (dont tell me that CIV like it)

There is actually a new game coming that is like Sorta CKII meets battletech, It sounds kinda neat. It's not out yet, but something to watch.

100% agree. It's really a genre unto it's own. There are plenty of mods in CK2 to give it a long life after CK3's release.

I enjoyed King of Dragon Pass and Total War Medieval 2... I played TWM2 lot as child, and I love CK3


You could check out Thea 2... I personally think it's roleplay is very similar to CK2, but it's totally diferent genre.

I dont mean gameplay. But the engine both games are built on seems pretty much identical. So this feels like paying full price for a theme change..

To repeat a previous answer, Romance of the 3 kingdoms. There's a few in the series that are similar. ROTK 13 is in English. ROTK 8 is in Japanese but some think it's better if you speak that.

Depending of the game there are more or less RPG aspects.

I played a bit the 13th. And was fun, being an officer, able to make your own faction or seek employement with any of the warlords. And go up from there. I need to pick it again someday.

Check out the other Paradox titles, the others are not character focused though.

Otherwise the only similar thing that comes to mind is The Guild franchise as already mentioned, the third one is in still in Early Access, but Renaissance has been played with mods since forever, it's not a Grand Strategy though, is an economy game with the Sims elements more or less.

Knights of Honor is a great game, its a little older but imo its like a blend of crusader kings & total war. there's a new 1 coming out sometime soon allegedly it'll be out this year. worth checking out

^ this is more trading simulator than dynasty simulator, but iirc, you can marry and influence the opinion of yourself with different classes and nobles. you can also try to be elected the head of the hansa, and the mayor of different cities.

CK3 draws its major elements from several genres - grand strategy, 4x, RPG, etc.

In that form it is unique, there are no other games which are similar to CK3. Except CK2 with all DLCs.
