Cannot Sway

Hello, wanted to ask, why I dont see the sway option for most of the characters in my realm? Is it because my character is shy? Weird, never happened with previous rulers...

I was able to use sway as a shy character. He didn't like it tho lol

I ave the same problem. I have returned to the game after a long lay off, and find there is no option to sway characters. I used to use the sway option a lot. Has it been completely taken out, or am i missing something. All help appreciated :-)

Probably no link with whatever problem the OP had 6 years ago.
You can definitely still sway. Is your character ill? perhaps consumption? Or this could be a save compatibility issue if you went back to an old save after a long time not playing.

Is the character you're trying to sway not an adult or out of diplomatic range?

I genuinely think some things are bugged, when i get the defensive negotiations perk. the garrison and fort level goes up as stated but i cannot purchase truce interaction. even though i meet the requirements. But not being able to sway is harsh, that's game breaking really

Yeah, I agree the lack of ability to use 'Sway' is quite game breaking. Also i have noticed changes in the character creation. Manly lack of options for personality and traits. This really deminishes the game. Sad to see this game tumbling downhill!

Sway is in the game and has not been removed.
No personality traits have been removed, if anything we gained one (eccentric) over the years.

Are you using any mods or are continuing a save from before 1.19?
