When the army is being raised, wait till they get to the number of troops you want then CTRL - CLICK move them. Viola!
Honestly, they should just give us the same option as if you create a new army from a existing one, where you can assign which regiments and leader it gets.
Why cant that be a standard option when you mobilize a army somewhere?
Would solve all the problems with the current system.
I mean its ALREADY there, just only possible with a raised army right now.
You can. At the bottom of the military menu you'll see a little red flag with a plus symbol next to it. Click on the plus to create new rally points. When you select a rally point, you get the option to raise all troops there or only raise nearby troops. I've not played around with raising only local troops enough to know whether having more rally points influences the amount of troops you'll raise, but it is there.
You could have several copies of siege weapons, but that would limit what other men-at-arms you can bring.
I love you
Raising only local levies means you only raise levies from counties inbetween the selected rally point and the nearest other rally points.
Personally I never use more than one rally point and just keep moving it around
In ck2 i could pick wich specific troop i want to raise.
Fact that this post is old as time only points out that nothing good had happened in that regards through all that time.
Where is advantage of raising MaA for suppresing uprisings if one hundred footmens costs one gold to upkeep while 2500 lavies costs around 7 gold (just checked it). Over three times more and i'm pretty sure that lavies would have squished maa with comparable amount of gold for upkeep. And time for raising both armies is no difference.
I recently bought ck3 and really consider to get refund and get back to 2.
I have few more issue with it, lack of fleet is one of them.
Well you can raise all your army on slow game speed wait till you need exact number of lavies than press that red (X) button to stop raising, then you can dissmiss men-at-arms and knights if you dont need them. I guess its the only way ATM a bit complicated but works.
