Computer Fans running really fast

Hello, I was wondering if anyone knows why this game makes my computer fans run really fast? It sounds like it's ready for take off when it never sounds like this only with this game. I've even lowered the graphics all the way to low and nothing changes. I'm not convinced it's my computer as my bf just built it for me with all new and pretty decent parts. It runs sims 4 with almost all game packs and expansion packs just fine.

The game is very poorly optimized and uses significantly more power than it should need to produce the visuals and gameplay on display here.
