Cannot complete main mission - Do i have to start the entire game from scratch?

Hi,

At the lvl 19 map - With Prayer and Incense

Went all in closing both portals, only to find out that i have to deal with the BlackThorn Council.

1 of 4 characters are already dead
the final 3 have a combined HP pool of 20, and no armor lol

Mordred dies in one swing from any monster, so its impossible for me to finish this mission

Do i have to start the entire game over?

I assume you are playing rogue lite mode? If so, you could theoretically edit your save file to change form rogue lite to normal, reload the game and restart the mission. Then you could edit back into rogue lite mode.

I think the Blackthorn Council will step aside if you ask them nicely. Offer them the choice of a red or blue potion.

If you're playing roguelite then you signed up to start over. That's the whole point. But yeah, I think there are ways to around it.
