Morgana Mission Still Broken
I've seen the devs say in April the possessed villagers are broken in the various topics on the balance of this mission and this will be looked at and fixed.. why hasn't this been fixed yet? I'm playing on very hard and am struggling to beat the first fight without serious injuries/deaths. Even if I do the first move or two perfectly, 2 of the ladies who cast spells can one shot my characters. You can either disable the melee chars and the front or the spell ladies at the back, too many for both, so either way you get owned one way or the other in turns 2 and 3. This fight is so clearly broken, why is it taking 1+ month to be fixed?? Devs please get on it so I don't have to skip this and lose out on the hero.

At the moment its better to avoid that mission, mainly if you are playing roguelite mode. Lets hope they fix the unbalanced missions in the upcoming "balance" patch.

I passed this mission on a hard difficult without injury.
Getting a mission = follow the old faith. So you can take the fairy knight and Merlin or morgavse. They and Morgana have abilities that completely or almost completely block incoming damage. At the same time, the characters themselves cause huge damage, so you can kill any encounter in two turns.

Well, he's playing on Very Hard, so what's true on Hard might not apply.

Patches take time, especially with everything else they'd be focusing on immediately post-release.

It might be a little demotivating, but you do have the option of reducing the difficulty to Hard for that mission. I mean, it's basically what you're asking the devs to do for the mission anyway, right?

So I just managed to beat the level on very hard without anyone dying or getting an injury. Had to use all my scrolls of +dmg and +ap and all my big potions, but got there after maybe 20 attempts. Was saving those for the end boss(es) but I guess this 'side' mission was worthy of them. By the way, my characters were 2 levels higher than the recommended level. It's extra frustrating because for some reason on this level you can't skip the cut scenes, so you waste a few mins every attempt. It's like the devs are purposefully trying to upset players. Its the kind of thing that should be a high priority when its found, not something that is frustrating plays for a month(s) while we wait for a fix. Hope there is an achievement for beating the game on very hard without a single character dying to make it worth it.

I am sorry, but apparently your skills is not suitable for very hard at several dimensions.Your behavior of 'the mission I can't pass that it must be broken 'is just like a crying baby,bunch of hard level player won't cry for that.

Very hard should be very hard.

Your quote is ignorant. I am now two missions into act 4 on very hard without losing a character. Very hard has mostly its been quite easy, I actually wish it was harder at times. The first fight of the morgana mission stands out as unbalanced compared to all the other fights. There are ~10 older threads on this and the devs have admitted the fight is not working as intended. My post is simply questioning why its taking them so long to fix it when its a known issue frustrating everyone.

If my skill wasn't suitable I wouldn't have beat the fight, despite being broken, on very hard with no injuries, so crawl back in your hole please.

I'd just ignore Kevin. He has been trying to antagonise people by talking down to anyone who has concerns about balance in several posts already.

I also took many tries before I was able to complete it with no injuries. In my case I had to rush the sage at the back and then the other spellcasters whilst leaving Morgana and her knight for last.

which can make her a usable character.

So in fact you two are talking two different mission.

Today's patch will address only this mission from a balance perspective. We will keep watching the reports as there a few controversial missions like the White Knight or Sir Lucan's map.
