Merlin is super OP. Take burning traits. His tier 1 fireball is great. His tier 2 fire dragon is OP. They do great initial damage, then with upgrades do great burn. At tier 3 he gets bonus to fire damage and a way to reduce the CDs on his spells so you can get to fire dragon faster.

That alone makes him better. But on top of that he has a taunt dummy that is amazing and a mind blast that either slows or makes the enemy attack their own for 1 turn. You can upgrade those to they basically are 1 AP - 2 AP and available every turn.

Amazing damage, Amazing CC, can teleport, can get mega armor shields. Broken trait that allows all CDs to reset faster so you can constantly do max damage....easy choice.

Morgana Le Fey's voice is charming,she is the only frost curse sorceress.
Her single target damage is better than Merlin.Especially when you facing boss.
Since Merlin is a legendary mage with 3X CD refresh talents.
So generally Merlin is way more powerful.
Just spam fire dragon.

I stick with the mother of Mordred instead of merlin, she has the ice shield, and lighting damage! She´s also very powerful so after all it´s up to your choice.
I think those 3 guys are always welcome in every group .

Why not bring both ? Add a sage and box in everything with 5 tiles ice walls and AoE it down. And when those walls fall, everthing around them gets frozen.
It´s kinda slow compared to enable a champion or vanguard with AP on kill, but it is fun.

Merlin in a vaccum is stroger with ridicoulous high DoT ticks and resets, however when I want to enable a champion to start the killing chain deathhex is just to useful to skip for me. She has pretty high burst as well, but after that she kinda just sits there with her skills on CD.

Merlins Fireball upgrade is great when you can hit 3 targets with it. Because the fire damage over time does 100% of the dmg and hitting 3 different enemies is a lot of mg. Raven spell is incredible as well. Get some trinkets with bonus dmg against slowed units. Again, Fireball works great with it because each shot gets the full bonus dmg. Ifc, tht will work with any mage unit.

completely not the same.
Merlin have 1ap teleport and raven swarm,raven swarm is super op.
It feels like you using slow bleed and death hex on same target,if target is dead,
the slow and bleed hex auto move to the next target.
Hex CD is too long.

She has, but Merlin gets CD reduction on kills. Getting resetts with him is easier, if that makes sense.
I like Morganas skillset and I am experimenting with her quite a bit now that I have reached post game.

Merlin is epic. telport with hide(damage bonus work for spells) and the easy cd reduction is the strongest selling point for me but you can add his crazy kit of spells: debuffs, decoy, charm, strong aoe fire spells. I think he is the most fun and mybe even the strongest knight in the game.
