Do you mean heroes tier list?
I just finished game on very hard, it seems things didnt change dramatically. Rogues still MVP, archers are usefull, defenders (except Mordred), champions and sages not needed (at all). Boudicea is best vanguard, but she joins too late so you cant get high loyality with her.
First archer lady is good choice since she has aimed shot and bleed shot... and there lot of opportunities to raise her loyality early.
Merlin is slightly better than Ector, but Ector is usefull too - especially on highest diff where you need more control and his death hex sometimes hits for like 300+ hp.
All champs are garbage vs any rogue, or archer, or Mordred himself. Sages are good on paper but... you would prefer to have one more damage dealer instead. Thats it, and sorry for my eng.

Balin and Dagonet are absolutely broken in endgame (more so with the optimal gear)
For Balin you focus on his mobility and get the provision that lets you use movement ap for movement skills (There is 1 for level 15 and a much better one for level 20)
Dagonet you focus on getting his hex as high as possible (Gear and Faerie Knight in Forge). He can just cycle through so many hexes in a single round that renders most mobs obsolete or dead.
Other knights were ok but those two are just in a tier of their own.

It's hard to make a tier list everything is so much stronger now. I replayed with Christ/Rightful and Dindrane went from one of the worst characters prepatch to hard carrying my team on very hard. Lancelot is also arguably the best champion now since he seems to be hurt the least by the champion nerfs.

I agree with Dagonet, with the caveat that Desecrated ground can be self-limiting due to the lingering nature. That said, it's so ludicrously good, who even cares?

I have Dindrane with 2AP shoot/poison skills and 50% ricochet. Against bosses, that goes to 1AP skills. It's pretty awesome. She can go 10-15 times per turn.

It depends on gear, enemies, encounter target (protect rifts or not) and other knights in your party.

on the hero kit itself, not considering gear, enemies, encounter target (protect rifts or not) and other knights in your party. It will be a whole lot of discussion if we want to bring that into it.

It would not be useful. For instance, all sages instantly become really bad. Boudika can ignore attacks of opportunity and looks like the best vanguard, but add Geraint who can give the property to any knight and suddenly Bediwer becomes better because of unique buff which adds 30% damage and 20% resists allowing to kill even enemies who freeze adjacent toles on death, he even can wear heavy armor so you can play him like champion if you need meat shield. Add gear to spend 1 MP to travel 3 tiles and get 2 MP on kill and who needs Boudika when you can travel the whole map several times during a single turn.
