I dismissed lady guinevere, now i can't do a mission

I'm getting so many heros now, more than i have space. So i decided to dismiss some of the more useless heros that i can't gain loyalty with because they oppose my faith etc.

I dismissed Lady G and now i can't do a side mission that needs her ffs. I would have put here on reserve but the game doesn't allow you to do that ofc. You can only drag knights from reserve into your main roster. I have no prior save and now i'm ♥♥♥♥♥♥. Is there nothing i can do???

I wish the game told me that this char was needed for later mission, really bad move on the devs part.

The side mission is called The Cauldron btw, when you help and receive Sir Percivale.

No, i´m afriad you cant do that mission or get that knight unless you restart the game,

And in this game your actual "main roster" is the guys in your party, and the actual"reserve" is the other 8 knights in the Round Table.

Damm, i wonder how many missions i'm gonna miss out then? I wish the game would highlight which chars are important and are needed for missions. Oh well, these silly reasons are why i never end up finishing games.

This is not a bad move by the devs nor should they have told you she was needed for a side quest. I can’t think of an rpg where you don’t have to make choices (including companions/factions) and get locked out of non-main quest content that run. This isn’t new or unique to their game.

And if you really want, go to the guides section and read the one about how to edit your save. Has a section on re-adding heroes. May or may not still work. I used it to give myself a few respec books but that was all.

Look in the guides section. One of the heroes ones has a brief section near the top titled “Required Hero Missions”.

I consider them weak, but both have very good and cool designs, especially Sir Percival.

I have a newfound appreciation for Sir Tegyr, he is a human shredder for me this time around. Kept Leodegrance until the end as well. I tried level 25 Sir Lanval and he was VERY underwhelming.
