Steam Deck Support

Please, Please, Please. The game runs terrible on the steam deck. I would love to play my rouge-lite game on the go or at work but its also most unplayable on the lowest settings and the steam deck is not a weak device. So please help the few of us out. (also love the game. I wish the campaign was a little longer though :(

Seeing the above comments about it being playable, I reinstalled it yesterday night. And the perfs felt good. Not '60fps' good but like a fairly constant 30fps good. Which is fine and better than what I remembered.
I'll give it another try tonight I and will confirm.

I have Cryoutilities installed (default settings).
Refresh rate capped at 30 on steam and in-game. Vsync disabled ingame.
No other modifications I can think of.

I'm excited.

this man plays with 60 fps... I don't know how... I can't have more than 30 fps with same GE-proton and same settings.

I bought the game cause I am a big fan of Van Helsing games, although don’t have a gaming PC right now. Thinking on picking up the Deck, but please add the support for it.

Just finished main story on Normal (took me 80 hours, but I took my time fiddling with gear options), played on SteamDeck only. Proton GE 8-3 and medium-to high graphic settings proveded me with 30-ish FPS most of the time with occasional litlle freezes in the end of any combat. Got a bit sluggish while installed on SD, so I reinstalled it to main drive early.

Judging by the posts I've read, It seems more an optimisation issue rather than outright not launching, with people stating game going into "slo-mo mode", whatever the hell that means.
