The second question is you must choose one side, there isn't enough points to reach conditions of morality, and also you'll find out the powerful hero is on extremely bound of axis.
Thanks, I read people complained about archers current state, on top of that I do love magic so old faith is easy choice.
Are arcanist still as buggy?
What exactly do you mean there is not enough points? Like what happens if I chose 3 right and have a change of heart going for tyrant? Will there be enough points in the end or do you mean there wont be enough points to tip the scale as opposite choice gives negative points making it impossible to level both?
I think thats horrific design if not the worst Ive seen in my game life time. Im lucky to have asked this question early on and wasted only one choice which shouldnt matter I hope, but I can imagine the frustration of people playing 10+ hours and finding out.
You basicaly have to choose between Tyrant and right or christian and old faith.
My tip to devs is to really highlight these options for new players, the importance on sticking by your choice otherwise you wont be able to unlock certain elements.
But spending 3 points in an axis you dont want means you have lost SIX: those three points and the three required to go back. And that´s too many lost points to get all Tyrant rewards even if you spend all possible points in that axis now.
I just saw one element that requires 14x and 14x of moral, so 28 in total. Can someone tell me exactly how many morals I can earn?
Yes you are right, I made one bad choice which counts for 2 in order to turn the scale.
Im gonna pause the game and maybe come back. Like this system is so bad man. The game on other hand, everything else is fantastic, like really awsome. I was hooked all the way.
This moral compass has barely been highlighted ingame all the while it has a HUUUUGE consequence.
If Im being totaly honest, its actualy a great/unique design but turned out to be horrific because lack of emphasis. Devs need to hotfix and really highlight the importance of the moral compass.
Anyway, Im out for now and will try Wartales next. What a shame.
I would say that it would be better to have some missions to "reset" your choice, or to change drastictaly, like choices that would have a value of 3 points of moral, instead of 1.
And imho, the 3 first knights you unlock (at least for my old faith good playthrough) are terrible, but the two extreme are really good (morgana & lancelot)
That would be optimal, having the option to reset but just highlighting early stage of the game requires much less coding.
There are no more than 40 decisions to make. You must choose your religion and morality since start and never go back if you want to get the rewards.
Thank you. I quit the game for now but I will definitely come back. I need to process this trauma and heal, the most retarded introduction to a system Ive ever seen. Note that Im not complaining about the design anymore, I rather find it unique and fun, but I was NOT prepared. Till next game lads and again thanks for the help.
