The Tale of Sir Yvain - Not saving?

Ok I get that developers wanted to introduce some creativity - but not saving can be torturous as long as its auto saving LIKE the intro to the quest suggested..but 1.5 hours into this 5hitty quest and if i click on the LOAD button to see if it autosaved - im seeing NO SAVES.
WHO thought playing over an hour without saving would be fun???

PS: Any cheats to get aroudn these stupid design decisions? My party has lost a lot of vitaltiy and NO WAY am I replaying this horrible quest again...

It sounds like a bug, because the game should automatically autosave after each battle (assuming you're playing on ironman).

no am playing on normal mode... i trawled through the discussions - looks like this bug has been since a while ...damn it so they introduced a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ game mechanic AND made it rage-quit buggy!!

it's the only quest you can't save, because of the " magic fog " not remember about auto save, but its a easy mission when you know what doing every boss.

Yes the quest is terrible, and auto save has never worked for me in it. You can use cheat engine to get though it

Did two fights, and exploring, worth 45 minutes and no saving at all. When i go back in Game , i meet Sir Irvin again... Please fix this

Just had this happen myself, all autosaves in that mission get you back to the start. Very frustrating.

Yes, this is a big problem. Developers, this is an easy fix, just either fix the auto-save so it assuredly works, or allow manual saves. It's not for fun for me not to have manual saves, so the developers don't create more fun by forcing no saves in this mission.

That’s how it does it for me. I’ve just recently started playing but did it with 3 separate character/game starts. No save from time I meet him till mission end. I just assumed it was the fog mechanic thing and after I realized it the first time then I knew not to start the mission unless I had the time to fully complete it. I don’t reload battles so not a big deal. I just got lvl 9 and haven’t encountered this anywhere else yet so still blame the fog.

same here. I read autosave option and than start the game today and Sir Yvain says hello too me, i was nearly at the end of the quest...

I'm not see a problem with it.
If u have problem with quest - go to global map and set difficulty to easy level.

Difficulty is not the problem, not saving is.
When you're married with children, you don't always get several hours to do a quest in one go.

Man, i'm understand.
You re not only one with family in the world.

You can change difficulty lvl at he global map and go for mission.
This trick allow u to do it in no time.

And as it was mentioned before - there are only one that kind of mission.

If it’s taking you several hours to clear a single map, might be a difficulty issue. I did my run on very hard and none took me anywhere near that time. And since only 1 map is like that without frequent auto saves and no manual saves then you adapt to get through it. Or go play something else.

This mission is trash and I wish it was modded out of the game.
