what is the earliest she is available? Does the mission to acquire her trigger as soon as you have the required morality or do you also have to be at a certain point in the game?

You can get her at level 14 with the right morality choices, but beware, her recruitment mission can be difficult. Actually, haven't done the mission post-nerf, but it certainly was hard before the nerf.

No, more like late game! Just because you can attempt the mission at level 14 doesn't mean you should do it. Lots of tales of woe about that mission.

I got her at level 14 though. Great character.

It became significantly easier (while playing on hard).

hopefully someone will make a mod to bring other characters in at the start then. WAY too much of a sausage fest!

I think I got her around lvl 14 but it was certainly hard. Not surprised to see that mission got nerfed but she is well worth getting. There is still plenty of game left once you recruit her.

The villagers in the beginning hits like a truck and has hitpoints equilvalent to elite mobs even though they they aren’t armoured. I went on level 13 just to “explore” and reloaded- I managed to take them down but my party specifically my defender was down with two injuries on the first encounter goodness! So I reloaded and went on level 15 and was hard but manageable. The entire level’s difficulty was just centred on the first encounter! The other mobs are just a cakewalk gosh!
