Events and chosing the hero to send

Hi there !

I've been wondering if the hero you select for an event affect the result ?

If it does, how am I suppose to chose the right hero to have better chances of success ? Sometimes I see an "obvious" clue in the text descripting the event (such as, sending a sage,a nd it's about the old faith, so if I send Merlin, he succeded each time), but some other times, I just don't see the clue.

So : is it about :
- The hero lvl ?
- The hero equipment ?
- The hero loyalty ?
- The hero morality ?
- The hero traits ?

Help ! ^^ It's frustrating to lose an event without knowing if I could have chose more carefully who I send !

It is mainly about class and faith. The quest texts usually have hints on what type of knight to send. If it involves spirits an arcanist or sage with old faith is normally a sure fire way to suceed. If it involves a duel or fight sending a champion is a good thing, if it involves a hunt or tracking marksmen or vanguard etc.

Thanks for the tips ! ^^ I wasn't sure about duels and fightings, since my vanguards are beasts on the battle field I would send them and them would always fail. xD Now I'll adapt. ^^

Fouth Tresure of or is it Duran Turann..it must be a Band of some kind = Tyrant

There is also a Quest called "A Strange Invitation" or something similar..it seems to me that you can send basicly anyone on it but it does not give any Moral Bonus to the Hero while all other Quests give 2 Moral exept " Unwanted Admirer" that gives 3 understandably..sounds like a fun assigment to me aswell... :D

Alternatively, you can find the criteria for these events under the AllEvents.cfg under the installation folder "/Cfg/Event/AllEvents.cfg". Just need to do ctrl F to find the node of the event by name (most of the events are named intutively so it shouldn't be difficult to find).

It is in json format and gives the success conditions as well as other helpful info. Including the rewards on success and failure. Really helpful if you want to focus on raising a knight's loyalty (loyalty bonus amt is reflected in the success outcome).

There is also the event, 'Pilgrimage' I sent Ector and was success. Maybe Christian related, not sure.
