model highlight doesn't work?

It doesn't seem to do anything when I press the key?

Just started playing the game and came here for this reason. Hopefully someone else can jump in. I press it and no difference. I can highlight things by putting cursor on them or somethings get a little highlighted when I’m within a certain distance. But the Key pressing to highlight objects itself doesn’t seem to do what it does in other games.

I'm close to 200 hours played and have never seen that working.

We will look into this in the coming period but if I recall it correctly the button was supposed to have a different functionality than highlighting objects.

So, would reassigning a different key work for this or are you saying that there is no function to highlight objects other than the automatic highlight? I try my best to view everything I possibly can, but just today I found a statue in the starting room at the beginning of the game; which is highlighted and gives a quick story.

In the control options it says it highlights interactable objects but buggered if I can get it to do anything.

it's actually working as intended, only its description doesn't actually tell you what it is intended to do. What it does is it activates a mode where only the grids are clickable, eliminating accidental misclicks on other items/enemies/characters. We do need to change the description of it.
