Reward for desecrating churches with Sir Dagonet

In Sir Dagonet's recruitment mission "The vicious tale of Sir Dagonet" you can choose to desecrate the chapel and the cathedral or instead choose to plunder them.
Plundering them gave me only items, no morality points.

What happens when you desecrate one or both of them? Does it give you points for Old Faith morality or anything else?
