12 slot to few
Hi, there are so many characters, and some I really wouldn't want to bin them away, have 12 slots and very little, is it possible to increase them with the number of characters?

The 12 is the max, however at the end of the day you'll mainly have 6 you'll be using on missions without ending up spreading your xp so thin it'll make the game very difficult.

It sucks you can only have 12, there are a lot of Knights I like that will never catch up level wise or I just like their personality, sucks to get rid of some that have been since the first few missions, and have become obsolete.

Please allow us to "store" knights or put them on reserve or whatever.

It would be nice to be able to collect knights, even if many are less than useful (low xp, low loyalty, etc). Perhaps only allow 12 to actually sit on the Round Table, but still be able to use the rest if desired.

I would like to sacrifice some to buff my main group.

Honestly, yeah, losing knight with their story forever just because you want to check performace of another knight or just because you want to, well, just check other knight is pretty "not fun" choice.
From my PoV best decision would to be possibility to move knights to aspirant heroes and back more or less freely (or with 1 turn delay) with changing loc of "Aspirant heroes" to "wandering knights" or something. Becuase what all of them are doing in any case? Sitting on their asses in Camelot doing nothing for weeks after you met them?

Swapping from active 12 slots and aspirants should be enabled. 12 slots get auto filled by first 12 knights you get. You cant do anything about it. Other 10+ knights you get after you cant even try or test without permanently kicking knights from your first 12.

Why? Just enable swapping...feels like extreme oversight.

Yes, you also have a separate archive of the characters where you can put them, like Raid, that you can always pick them up and move them, obviously they have to take the experience points after the battles in order not to get too far behind.

Surely this was a design decision providing another strategic layer to the game. Forcing the player to have to make decisions on how they shape their round table.. not just be able to access every knight as and when they like after they become accessible.

Personally I like it.. my guess it adds to the replay angle.. ie choosing other knights.

This has nothing to do with any strategic decisions. How can you form your rond table if you cant test any of the knights you unlock after first 12 which are forced to your round table? I cant test any of them without permanently kicking out those which i unlocked before. Its broken mechanic at this point.

You have a point. I thought as an aspirant hero you get to see the entire skill tree of the hero.. but you do not.. only the skills made available against their current level...

Perhaps the answer is to allow the player to swap heroes between your round table and the aspirant bench freely. That effectively gives you 12 + the bench slots to play with.

Yes swapping should be possible.

Hey, developers! Please remove the hero cap from from the game, there is no point for new heroes, if you cannot keep the old ones. Why do you expect players to dismiss their heroes whom they have already spent dozens of hours before? It makes no sense.

Make new heroes stronger by default, give them higher morality bonuses, re-balance the game around this if necessary, but please allow the players to have the possibility to try out new heroes! What is the point of new heroes if you cannot recruit them without ditching your current party members?
upuaut2 May 10, 2022 @ 10:49am
i agree i hate that you have to dismiss some to make room. dont feel right
upuaut2 May 10, 2022 @ 11:50am
they at least should allow us to place them all on reserve and we should be able to replace them without having to dismiss anyone. that feels very lame if you ask me

I would say this deduct a strategic layer.
With the only mean of recruiting new heroes is kicking someone from the main 12, there's no way of picking what's best for different scenarios.
