Relic Sacrifice?

So I have many unused relics and such I want to sacrifice. I click on the enchanted tower. And.. I cant drag them to the sacrifice box. I cant interact with anything in my inventory. The only things that are draggable are the items for sale and the person I want to be in the tower. Seems like its broken? Or am I missing something?

Pretty sure only yellow relic grade items can be broken up

Really? I thought you would be able to break down many blue/green/grey/etc items to save up relic dust to get a legendary. Am I mistaken in this? if so its all very very poorly explained.

Yellow's are relics. you essentially break down Relics to receive dust to get different or better relics. each relic usually gives around 1/3rd or 1/4th of what is needed for one from the tower.

Ahh thankya, its very poorly explained.

You can also put Sir ector in the enchanted tower to receive dust = 10x his level. so even if you don't care for him leave him in training and as the towers leader and you're getting a steady stream of relic dust.

I was confused too until I read and realized the green and blue stuff are labeled as runes while the yellow is labeled as relics.
