Armor damage
Hitpoints
Vigor
Injuries
When you are hit, it will first go against the armor. Depending on how much armor you have, some will also go through and damage hour hitpoints. Both will be reduced.
Only wenn your hitpoints are 0 and you take further damage it will hurt your vigor.
If vigor gets low enough, you will receive injuries (afaik, not happened to me).
Hitpoints and Armor are replenished automatically between missions.
Vigor and Injuries must be healed in the base. You got a Cathedral and Hospice, one for each type.
They should allow respecting skills or passives if they really want feedback on something. Just my opinion.
But remember best stat is armor and keep potions on you to heal you up in battle because healing right now in Cathedral is crap. GL HF
Still like that as of today, nothing has changed since your post, IMO.
That said, as you can save between fights, it depends on strongly you reload. Personally I would basically never use the heal between missions just because its not necessary. That is different if you play on ironman.
Generally you will try to avoid any wounds or major damage to your vigor during missions, as generally you will want to continue using your characters and dont put them on the bench.
So I'd say that Hospice and Kathedral are mostly there for people using ironman mode. Otherwise you would want to get major damage anyways.
