Very slow launch and load

During launch, I'm staring at a black screen for around 3-4 minutes. Then I'm humming at the (not) loading screen for about the same amount of time. Eventually the game loads and so far plays smoothly, so no further issues.

I'm just wondering if anyone has not too technical ideas re the slow launch and load? I'm on Windows 10.

Hello, upon successfully loading the game does it consistently load slowly on the next load up when you restart it?

Hi. Thanks for your response.

Launch is a lot faster now, around a minute. The loading screen is still slow; if it helps, it takes 2 minutes for the green bar to show and then another 2 minutes to load.

It's no deal breaker by any means, but the launch times are quite slow compared to other games. Initial application load as it's launching takes around a minute. That's on super fast NVMe drive.
