Hello All,

I have some great news and some bad news. I'll start with the good, We are making fairly big changes to the engine to make a new major release called Episode 2. The bad news is that the Server will be offline for up to a month while the changes are being made. We hope that you are patient and can wait it out while I make all the changes for Ep 2. The following changes/features will occur:

1. There will be a complete wipe of characters for this new Episode. You will have to start again as we are making major structural changes to the data layer.

2. The movement will no longer be grid based it will be free movement meaning that you can stop in-between the grid.

3. The battle system will be overhauled. Expect it to play much more like a classic overhead RPG in that it should be more twitch-based and you should be able to dodge attacks, charge your attack, and knock back enemies with powerful attacks.

4. There will be new Equipment. We will have helmets and shields and weapons with diff speeds and damage. Armor and Weapon Sets equipped will give stat bonuses. Gear will have one number rating, you will be able to Enchant them to higher numbers but not past your level.

5. The Maps will be randomly generated and made much much bigger. The map will be huge and the client will load it in grid chunks seamlessly. You will be spawned in a random location, and will have to find a town house to get to the shop NPC's.

6. Where you walk, off-screen we will randomly generate Monsters according to your level, most will be easy to normal with some being difficult, it will scale with your level.

7. The monsters will have power attacks also giving you a chance to get out of the way.

8. We will have allot of dungeons, however they will be developed after Ep 2 most likely to save some time.

9. There will be some GUI Changes to take into account the new content, and make a few improvements so it's a little less clunky looking.

After all that is done, Expect it to be released and the Game Server to be put back Online. We hope that you all join us for Episode 2 I am very excited to it's release and hopefully you all are too. Thanks for reading.
