Titan Quest II

Titan Quest II

Got the demo from Epic
I'm pleasantly surprised. This is really good. Quite polished for a beta demo. Better than some EAs. Heck, it feels almost more polished than Last Epoch is RIGHT NOW, and that's been out of EA for over a year, I think...

It captures the feel of the original well. You do have to play around with the controls to get it set up to basic attack/move with LMB and ability/spender attack with RMB, but you CAN do it. For some reason, it doesn't default to this like TQ, Grim Dawn, All of the Diablos...PoE...

That aside, it feels good.

Looks amazing, too. I had no problems getting good framerates, but I did have to lower some settings (my 3060ti is showing its age) but I still got 60+ at 1440 with most things on high.
More than that, it's the art direction. It looks like I want Titan Quest to look. Very detailed, very colorful, very classical. Like a technicolor dream in a massive historical art museum where you get to murder everything. A lot more detail than say...Diablo 4, which looks kind of bad on close inspection...

I was "meh" on this, because I want it to be Crate doing it or doing Grim Dawn 2...But this is really promising so far.

I agree, good sense of progression, little bit slow progress but its ok, kind a disappointed with skill tree, not bad but was expecting better skill tree, for now Grim Dawn has excellent skill tree with passives, we will seethe final product, one thing bothers me also is inventory in titan quest 2, that you cant turn option to auto compare items when hovering on item, then you need to hold button on controller then press another one to sell stuff from inventory, two buttons for selling stuff? cmon, same with m/k, they need to simplify that.

Crate have nothing to do with TQ2, it's not their IP. Any GD2 is years away yet.
