If it has a summon tag or says it affects summons, then it affects summons, if it doesn't have the tag, or doesn't mention summons, then it does not affect summons.

Exception to the rule, is anything that grants allies something eg. an aura for example granting you and your allies X amount of armor, that will affect the summons as well.

If it says summon increased crit damage, then yes. If it's just generic increased crit damage, then it only affects you, not the summons.

Summons only work from summon specific stats, so the passive or the gear needs to state, that it's for summons.
Your own stats will not influence summons.

I've heard attribute points do affect summons, but I'm not certain.

I've forgot to mention this. For attributes if they apply, it's only the secondary attributes of Fittness,Resolve and Cunning.
