It's nearly been 3 months since the last content update, so it can't be long until the next chapter comes, if things go as planned.
Chapter 2 was released after 2 months and not 3, but it was planned or written, that there should be new story content about every 3 months.
The next should be prior to February.

The last content update was in start December, when a new mastery arrived. That is new content.

If you are refering to new areas, then that was September 30th, yes. Which means they could release it in 1 month and would still be within "about every 3 months".

Yeah not the content of charms and the mastery.

They are doing what they call major updates every three months, not story updates every three months. That is per their own roadmap and other conversations I've had. Masteries and other systems are considered major updates as well, so they may go through periods where they aren't releasing playable campaign content every three months as they choose to drop another system or mastery into the game instead.

That said, January or February are very likely for at least chapter three.

Gonna repeat what was already said. About a month and a half left on the 6 month window. No further update planned this month. Chapter 3 sometimes in January probably assuming they stick to the plan. That's the only thing that can be considered a major update, not those charms and mastery.

To be fair, what you consider a major release doesn't matter. They provided their definition of it and to interpret it differently is just stupid.

I'm sure we won't get a big content update (class, area, such things) until february and that ok.

We will probably get a new/updated roadmap for the first and second quarter early next year.

Major content updates are planned roughly every three months. While not every update will include all types of content, they may feature additions such as new masteries, content chapters, a character creator, new gameplay systems, and other improvements.


In between these major updates, we have smaller updates planned. Some of them might introduce new gameplay mechanics, improve on old ones, or completely revamp present mechanics, sometimes throwing more languages into the mix.

Forge and Charms/Relics is a Major Content Update by the Devs own definition. Unless you want to argue with them about their definition of what constitutes a "major update?"

From the Roadmap/FAQ:

"What will be the final release date?
We are making it dependent on the Early Access. Right now we are targeting End of 2026 for the 1.0 release of Titan Quest II."

Game is actually progressing quite rapidly.
Compared to POE2, this game is actually developing much faster.
It started more recently with less content, and it's quickly catching up.
Not sure how much faster you want it because, I have to say they are releasing updates faster than I expected..
