Bright, colorful atmosphere, please!!

Just like the original TQ! Diablo, Grim Dawn, PoE all have mainly dark and gritty atmospheres/environments.

But the world of TQ was perfect. Dungeons were dark as you'd expect, but outside was beautiful with living life and sun, colorful foliage, sand and beaches, etc.

We understand a key attractor was the vastly different mood in the visuals and we will for sure convey that in TQ2 as you saw on the currently release screenshots.

Loving the art and colors so far, I don't mind if there's some darker dungeons and zones and things like that but at least on the surface it's perfect how it looks right now.

a bit to dark for me especially the sea, the blue/green of the sea of Rhodes was incredible
but a very good start anyway

The colour palette demonstrated in the screenshots is perfect to evoke every kind of atmosphere. So oversaturation and exposed light hardly have a place in this game.

Thank you ! Such a relief to read that. That's exactly why TQ is one of my all-time favorite games, and why I never played Diablo and GD.

Most old fans will come from diablo 2 , as it has alot larger player base that titan quest 1 , I think your colous are perfect dont make it too shiny like tq1

Not really, anyway ... If you want to play Diablo gory and dark atmosphere go play Diablo IV. And don't ask TQ2 devs to fill your need of a decent Diablo 2 sequel.

Devs have already set their tone for the game no matter what party wants what. It's going to be like in the screenshots folks.

i want both Dark and Colorful... lots of Beauty and lots of Blood... lots of Diablo series, Grim Dawn, Last Epoch, Path of Exile and lastly Titan Quest being considered into this game. all these games have stuff that make it stand out. with TQ it was the Roman/Greek nation thing going on.

I was one of those that preferred Titan quest and sacred over diablo and that was because of the atmosphere.

sacred were great games!

not exactly the same, but back in those days I also loved dungeon siege 1,2 and legends of arrana which definitely had its own style as well that I preffered over diablo to say the least. Diablo had fun gameplay but honestly the visuals were not as interesting. Good for what it was, but not exciting like the other games that had me wanting to really explore the world.

Diablo you kill things and thats it. that was the extent of my investment.
