Not likely to happen as they don't own the TQ IP.
Spellforce 3 devs is an interesting and refreshing choice !
Crate knows how to make an aRPG better than anyone and they support their games for many years, so I’d never have any doubts about them making a new aRPG. I’m sure they’ll be making Grim Dawn 2 in a few years.
unfortunately, they won't. they've stated that the only work on GD2 so far is words on paper and it will be a minimum of 10 years before it happens, if it ever happens. they are burned out on arpgs and focusing on other genres.
Not streamline the whole thing.
My only concern is if like every western game nowadays theyre gonna be disrespectful towards greek mythology and make greeks and creatures diverse or some other nonsense.
It wasnt good RTS game, (even after update/rework) (they should make more like Age of Mythology) and RPG - i relly dont cared about skill tree and wepons was too much nothing special in all crates looked the same, they should make some items look bad and some special items look bad ass good so see from inverntory this weapons something special ....
Make ui more PC orient and tweakable.
Also dont put stupid agenda in story/lore (still remember constant complaining from characters.. "It is really neccesary?" or just depressed voiceovers,,,, it really degraded immersion...)
Pieces Interactive did Ragnarok and Atlantis. Ragnarok is the best of the three expansions. They're currently working on the new Alone in the Dark though and they have a pretty good track record. I'd still rather go with Grimlore. They have the high quality art style nailed down and hopefully the gameplay. They have TQ1 to build off of, so they can't get too far off from those systems. I'll trust them for now. What little we've seen looks great so far.
