Well damn..I just spotted this was on sale and thought I'd check the comments.
The game looks cool but I have to say, no cockpit view is a deal breaker for me.
I never really like the "I'm sitting outside and behind my ship" view, just like in racing games I won't buy games that only have the dumb "I'm floating behind my car" view.
a real shame as I have been looking for a good space game to play on my steam deck.

There is a huge difference between a 3rd person arcade game, and an immersive cockpit/HOTAS/VR title.
Let the arcade games be arcade games, and if you want a full on VR immersive experience, look for one that intends that instead of saying that this dev missed the mark somehow.
