If you do not make it into the arm immediately, you die. When you respawn so do the enemies. So, if you die and respawn. You have to race down the arm, while being chased by laser beaming enemies, and an explosive cloud, through a twisting tiny lane with obstacles, and if you stop boosting you die.
I do not understand the intent.
Come back to this thread when you are in the room with Rasar.
You do not have Rite of the Star at that point.
Going to be a long wait. I do not intend to play again.
Shoot the targets starting from the base of the arm and move to the entrance. Remember to dodge attacks with A and D, You can avoid a lot of damage this way. Once the last target is destroyed fly into the arm. The tunnels aren't that difficult to navigate. The game saves progress before entering the arm so You can retry the tunnel as many times as You want.
Hah! Yeah! There was a guy posting his iron man run here. I hadn't died a single time due to enemies until that part of the game. And then after that there are a few more areas that can give you trouble such as the temple where you get the Star Rite and have to fight swarms and the big Sentinel in the other temple. Took me forever to realize you had to go through that damn portal.
shame because in general I like the game and it's not bad, on the contrary..
I share your sentiment 100%. I understand making things challenging, but this is too much. How are you going to put a tokyo drift space ship in a tiny room to fight a boss that insta kills you over and over without any "skill" check. It is simply bashing your face on a brick wall until you knock a brick loose. The way the game played up until this point was amazing. And then they went and put a lamborghini on a bicycle track.
The game does a poor effort in guiding the player towards the weakpoint, so when you die to the huge fire blast it feels cheap because you had no idea where you were meant to go.
"The arm is open" Mother Fuc*** where is the arm open? A simple camera pan zoom showing the arm opening on the end would have solved a lot of issues.
I thought the boss was an absolute heart pumping blast after I got over the initial hump, but I can understand the frustration, just needs some QOL polishing
LOL were you listening to me when I played???? >.<
