I guess there's no reason to buy the PS3 originals then, unless there are features exclusive to them? I would prefer physical copies, but shipping to my country plus duty and tax cost as much as the games...
It's actually cheaper for me to buy these anyway, since it only costs me the equivalent of US$48 for the bundle, instead of ~$30 + shipping/tax for the PS3 discs.
As far as Ayesha goes, the only thing remarkable you'll lose is not being able to play the game in Hard Mode and not being able to fight against some optional bosses that were added in which were introduced in E&L for the first time, that once you're able to master the game you'll enjoy (or suffer) for sure fighting against them since they demand the best of you to beat them.
Also, you can search for Ebay or some website like that to buy Ayesha for the PS3 by just about 10-15$, or buy them in some thrift shop where you're living. It's Atelier so it shouldn't be hard for you to find a physical store selling them at a good price.
These games were never sold in my country AFAIK, so they are impossible to find locally (not even the Arland trilogy). Most eBay sellers don't ship outside US/NA, so I'd have to use their GSP, which is expensive and it charges import duties and taxes at the checkout. Package forwarders are not worth using for such small and low-value items.
I've also heard about a game-breaking bug in the PS3 Shallie, where allocating stats or learning new skills crashes the game. If that's true, then there's even less reason to get the PS3 versions since my PS3 is running a CFW (to use as NAS/backup server) and can't get official patches.
I forgot to change the language when I launch the game for the first time, and just noticed that most of the girls sounded the same in English as if they're the same voice actress voicing multiple characters. And all the voices are horrible.
The worst voiceover in a language that I can understand is better than the best in a language that I don't know a word of. There's something called "familiarity" and "convenience."
Monterossa is a known troll who wants to dictate how everyone else enjoys things.
Just ignore the simpleton.
are you sure? Maybe he just has a strong opinion about what he likes.
Looks at Monterossa´s reviews*

Ok, its a troll.
Yeah, having a choice is always better.
Its ok if you say " i prefer the Japanese dub", i feel that way myself.
But if someone likes the English dub and prefers to play with English voices, more power to them.
Everyone should be able to enjoy a game like he wants if the game offers different options.
