Game speed...?
Well, I this is pretty odd. When I run the game it starts up fine and the menue works all good! However, when I play the game it's in fast mode, if I switch it to slower or try lower the game speed the game just crashed. I don't much like playing in like 28x game speed!

Put it in slow mode and the slider to approximately one tenth from the end any further left and it seems to defecate all over your fps. Works for me. :D

It just dosn't work for Windows 8 and 8.1. Anything 7 and below will work.

Here's what I did. I went into the games folder, and found the dmcr.exe and went into it's properties. Then under compatibility I put it into Windows 7 mode, checked run this as admin, and enabled the game to work with OneDrive files. Then saved and now I can change the speed!:D

Running Windows 8.1 here and I was able to adjust the slow options down to four ticks from the right and it runs fine.

tried that and it does not work. said that the screen resolution for what I had does not exsit in there. :( does that mean I can't play it with the monador that I have?

Hey. Sorry to bump this but I fixed this issue for myself (I run Win8). All I had to do was go in the games folder (Steam\steamapps\common\American Conquest - Fight Back) and right click dmcr.exe, go to properties, then compatibility and run in Windows XP (Service pack 3).
Works like a dream now, although still getting the speed to be at a reasonable pace is still a massive pain.
