Foliage glitch
I'm experiencing a glitch where some foliage will freak out. I think it has to do with it blowing in the wind as some foliage doesn't have this issue. Any idea how to fix this issue? Not my video but here is what I'm experiencing: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ebYiEDNVCKc

Glad some other people have this issue also! Could not find anything about this except for that video!

Just came to post this myself. This was not happening before the tiny patch that was applied before I tried to continue my game this morning. This glitch looks so ridiculous. I refuse to play the game like this. Please roll back the patch, fix or let us know how we can fix it.

I understand that the new AMD drivers apparently fix this but I have an old series 300 card and the new drivers do not support it.

Weird! It looks more like a physics engine thing. There is some wind, but it's making the foliage in the middle distance go nuts.

I tried to reproduce the effect but I couldn't seem to. That said, I am using an older driver, so it could be driver specific?

Is there any particular area of the map this can be easily seen in? I'm in the Nora lands for now (haven't done Seeker at the Gates yet, so can't get into Carja).

(EDIT: I watched the video and I noticed this guy's texture popping is especially severe, whereas mine seems a bit smoother, so I would again look to the drivers as a possible source of the problem in concert with the physics engine.

I also notice it's affecting shadows thrown on the ground too, so yeah, physics engine.)

Man I've heard about some new AMD drivers but my Radeon Software doesn't have any updates available. Have the new drivers been released for all gpus? I have a Radeon RX 5600 XT

This is the same glitch I'm getting since the last patch; and given that I'm using an R9 380, there are no driver updates available*. So I hope either this issue is patched or a rollback to the previous version is made available.

*Well, I'm not on the last update available since everything was working until now. So I guess there is one 'update' I could try if need be.

I have the same issue, I can't find any fixes.

Im having the exact same issue. I have a Radeon RX 5700 XT and its up to date. this is the first place I found any mention of this issue. There looks to be a connection between AMD Radeon drivers and the new HZD update. hope the devs address this soon, its really annoying

I've got the exact same generation (R9 390) and couldn't cause the weird exaggerated foliage effect. IDK why!

Maybe its related to something else too. Refresh rate, or some setting.
I'm playing at ultimate quality, with framerate unlimited. Refresh rate set to 144hz. (but I have a freesync monitor, so variable) V-sync off, HDR off, Full Screen; 4k resolution. All the rest set to default/off.

Fps is around 75~ish average. Lowest it drops is 70ish, with one exception (certain endgame place with a lot of fire) where it dropped to 60 fps.

Ah I'm not on windows 11 yet which is most likely why the update is not showing for me yet. Thanks!

I'm on Windows 10 with a Radeon RX 5700XT and I had the same problems with dancing foliage. For my case I can confirm, the Adrenalin 22.1.2 Optional (WHQL) installation directly from amd.com fixed this issue. (previously "recomend" Adrenalin 21.10.2)
