and i could change other keys aswell
if every key can be changed i dont know?
. Someone with more esperience in the PC version probly can answer that?
The games camera constantly, endless, forever and ever moves on its own to help you "notice" enemies. Even enemies youve seen already. This cannot be disabled and is somewhat bearable with a pad(you get used to it) but is absolutely unbearable on MKB. Think the "story beats" assist spot that lots of 3P games do these days, IE when you approach a waypoint or whatever the camera automatically focuses on that. Well, HZD literally does it for every enemy in the game that is within X distance from you with no filter for already spotted targets/points of interest. You will be doing small mouse adjustments every step you take in this game.
I would actually consider it unplayable with MKB, and I regret buying it outside of steam because I would have refunded it rapidly. They have fixed the technical issues, so its playable performance wise, but have done nothing about the awful controls.
Mr. Hubble is right. You confuse controls with key-bindings in your rant and miss the point.
Yes, the controls for Mouse and Keyboard are different than the ones for controllers. You have to use a modifier instead of a separate control. Big deal.
I assigned the modifier key to the thumb button of my mouse and found that actually more natural then having to chose between buttons. But to each their own.
Given the number of players who managed to play the game successfully with mouse and keyboard, your consideration "unplayable" says a lot. Not so much about the game, though.
For some, PC gaming is just very complicated, it seems.
Call me weird, but I actually like the dynamic camera. It makes for a much more cinematic experience.
The camera... well it might be a little disturbing, but it's far from "unplayable". I assume you are talking about the shoulder camera moving from right to center. As long as you are not in a village and have a focus on story progress, I'd consider it as a bug. But you can switch the camera back by going into aim mode for a second.
I'd criticise that there's no shoulder adjustment in general, but I got used to what is given most of the time (right shoulder).
Bro, this thread has been dead for almost a full year. No need to go out of your way to respond to people who haven't been here in months. And beyond that, the core question is if rebinding keys is even possible, and the "stop whining" comment was directed at someone who not only gave incorrect information (you can adjust keybinds in this game) but also went on to complain about things that have long since been patched. There's even a widely available mod specifically to fix the camera angle to your preferred shoulder.
Again, the "stop whining" wasn't aimed at saying that accessibility isn't important, but specifically at someone who was A) giving incorrect information, B) making a large issue about how they don't like the default keybinds, and C) doesn't recognize the fact that controllers and keyboards are going to have different functionality due to their very different design principles, and how this is going to be noticeable when a controller game is ported to PC. Again, nothing at all belittling the importance of having alternative keybinds available.
