noob needs help

1. bottom left of screen using z x i can rotate some symbols , what is the ! symbol
2. i run out of arrows and cant make anymore
3. i cant use stones anymore
4. i cant increase my help when weak

First of all, there's no such thing as a noob.

1. looks like you're using K+M. I use a controller. Others may help with that. I can't.
2. This can be an issue early on, especially on harder difficulties. What difficulty are you on? I played first on normal and only had this when I stupidly dropped too many 'twigs'. Also, can you make any arrows or is it just 'fire arrows', for instance?

You need to check your arrows on the selection wheel. It will tell you how many arrows you can make and what materials you need.

Basic arrows need wood and wire, as do hard-point arrows. fire arrows need blaze, freeze arrows, chill-water, etc. If you haven't got enough of any one material to make your arrows, then you can't. Full stop.

If you're running short, sneak attack and kill what you can. Loot the machines.

Wander around and loot random 'dead' machines.

Collect basic wood from the environment.

Use focus in every town, or area you are in and loot chests or machines that you see with focus. You will get shards and materials for crafting arrows.

3. You can't use stones because you have none left. They are a resource. They can be looted in the environment. Wander about and loot them when you see the big flags for them.

4. I don't know what you mean. "I can't increase my 'help' when weak". Your health, I guess.

I play with a controller. The answer will differ if you play keyboard and mouse. For a controller, if you have gathered any health ingredients for your medicine pouch, press D-pad up. You will restore health until your pouch is empty, or you will get to full health but deplete your pouch by the same amount.

You might have collected health packs. These are small or large. Again, this is for controller...

Left or right on the D-Pad will rotate what you are currently using on the D-Pad. Rotate this until you see a 'health pack' icon, either small or large. Press the down button on the D-Pad to use it and restore your health.

You may need the 'Keyboard and mouse' equivalents of what I said. I don't know them.

! symbol is used to lure the nearest member of a herd towards you. While hiding.

1. Those icons are the items you can use, if you press z and x you can select between rocks, potions etc
2. You need to gather a lot of ridgewood, loot some beasts for shards and wires. Gather as much as you can because you won't get that oppurtunity in the end game
3. Explained it in the first point, you need to use z and x and select rocks
4. If you need to recharge your health, you need to pick up red coloured flowers you see in the environment, they're everywhere. Once you start taking some damage and lose some health, tap Q on your keyboard to use those flowers to regain some health

you can also use health potions to heal.

(!) is the WHISTLE skill - check your skilltree and select whistle then see in lower right which button to press for further demonstration/explanation

@tigerpoetry that post says a) still has stones in inventory b) help>health - it was a typo c) found the fast heal button :)

stones are one of the items in the lower right. you have to select it first to use
