Focus did not locate it. Is it on the same plane as the rest or is it on somewhere else like top or underground?
cant remember but it could be on a different height of the mountain.its not underground though.id remember if it was.
I'll try again but didn't see anywhere else I could climb any higher so I was just running in circles.
I HATE missing items especially when they are indicated on the map in games.
i hear you.you kinda of expect them to be right where your custom marker is too but of course its not lol.its just a general area to search.
in some cases the height the marker was at was way off so it really didnt help.
So basically stand in the area in the game world and check what elevation the marker is at, and then run to whatever places is at that elevation. If the marker is below you -- the bluegleam is at a lower elevation. If it's above you, it's at a higher elevation.
Noticing that made finding all of the bluegleams easy as there were little running around wildly and more just running to the areas available at the correct altitude.
I don't know if you saw the pictures or not but I'm facing the marker directly. It's on middle of a cliff face but nothing on top or below.
I THINK I figured it out after more Google searching and will look on the ground level next.
Ah, based on that image, it's on an altitude below you. So basically just hunt around on all areas at that specific altitude in the area shown on the map screen and you'll eventually find it.
What's so confusing is that when you're on ground level, it's above but when you're on top it's below.
The flag literally sits in middle of cliff wall.
You can't trust the position of the flag itself -- only the height it's shown on.
The actual bluegleam will be positioned at the height shown by the marker within the circle area shown on the map. So basically find an accessible place within that circle that resides on the height shown by the marker, and you will have found it.
Technically I guess it's a bit _below_ the height shown (as markers typically are above the objects), but the point stand: look for an area at or around the height shown by the marker within the circled area you see on the map.

Actual location vs marker location. It's not even in same zip code (slight exaggeration)!!
