Uh...how do I let go and drop?

Having zero problems with HZD in running and performance. What I can't figure out is the keyboard command to let go and drop when hanging from a ledge, post, etc. My character is currently in Sigma Cauldron, hanging at the down end of a slanted handhold (after climbing across on a series of handholds and posts), and I cannot find any keyboard command that will let her drop to the ground. What am I missing here?

EDITED: I figured it out right after posting this. I would swear I tried C before writing this, honest! :-)

Thank you!! I kept trying C, but had remapped the sneak/crouch button to match my other games' keybinds, so your answer has totallys saved me.
