HDZ VS RDR2
The problem with HZD in my opinion is thats is demanding and looks like a game from 2015 even with all settings maxed out....RDR2 also had some problems but offered us the best looking game till now and thats the main difference...ITS NOT ABOUT FRAMES OR FRAMETIMES ,its about a game that is demanding without offering us good visuals

Agree, RDR2 looks phenomenal at the end of the day. That's why it has the right to be intensive, not to mention the ultra settings in the game are mostly meant for future hardware. Horizon on the other hand is three years old, and it shows. Yet it runs about the same as RDR2 which is honestly ridiculous. Its quite clear with Horizon that they did not work as hard as Kojima did to improve the same engine and optimize it for PC hardware.

i just played rdr2 on med to high settings, idc about graphics that much more in it for the story and actual gameplay. Probably why i like Bloodstained so much

Personally I find RDR2 boring... Never really enjoyed any of the GTA's either, always felt kinda braindead.

The main problem with RDR2 is, that the company behind it sucks. Toxic environment, crunch, and all that just so a horse can have shrinking testicles. Also the company behind RDR2 doesn't pay it's due taxes, and instead gobbles up funds from the government that are supposed to support small indie devs.

But it`s guerilla games first open world game ever made. On other hand we`ve got expirienced and well oiled mechanism called rockstar games. Your point is wrong, but still a point.
HDZ is a good game but a bit overhyped by ps4 fans. I was curious to see how it would look on the pc at 4k with everything cranked but was slightly underwhelmed.

Much prefer HZD in terms of story, graphics, open world over RDR 2. RDR2 was absolute snore fest

Both are a AAA studio backed by a big publisher. Horizon being Guerilla Game's first open world game is irrelevant. OP's point still stands.

rdr2 is just too cumbersome with all its eating, drinking, cleaning, washing, bathing, etc. having to interact with horse to pick up the rifle. having an animation for every drawer you open. npcs yelling at me for taking too long to loot a place. systems within systems within systems within systems. i feel like i'm going insane playing that game. rockstar needs to realize that there's such a thing as too much realism and rdr2 goes so overboard that it stops being a video game.
