For some reason this update made my framerate boost a ton. I was at 80 fps and now I get 130-144. I don't know why but I can't complain because it feels much smoother.

seems like they are working on game stability trough PTS so yea prob thats why ur FPS is geting better with this update here

Just got back into FO76 recently and am now a lil sad that the "survival" aspects that I started playing again for have just been made redundant. I really wish this game had a "survival mode" where managing your hunger, thirst etc was actually impactful and could kill your character if they got low enough. It's a bit of a shame

what do you mean it just said that the ap debuff is gone not that they got rid of gunger and thirst

I didnt say they were removed. I said made redundant. If there is no debuffs to the hunger, thirst, tiredness, then it can literally be ignored without consequence. Sure if you keep there meters full there is more positive buffs, but in terms of a player feedback loop it now feels optional. Like reading skill magazines or using bobbleheads.

people complaining about removing the debuff of thirsty/hunger lul, it's not even a big deal, at least not for me, I never run out of food nor water, if you're lvl +20 you should already have a lot of food and water in your inventory. It's not really a big deal so idk, maybe y'all like to force the debuff by no eating/drinking? what a sadics

I was having the same problem as other people on this forum. Game would not start. Crashed after startup back to desktop. Reinstalling game also did not help. However found the problem. It was because I had RivaTuner running (been using it for years to display CPU, GPU temps in game). Stopped RivaTuner and game starts OK now. Game was working fine with RivaTuner before update. Hope this helps someone.

... well it's easy enough that thirst and hunger doesn't kill ya, but this? you might as well remove the Hunger and thirst system all together, I'm not complaining but I just find this stupid

I don't understand, the hunger is removed? Where is the utility now for a survival game post apo ?.. Fallout 76 choose more arcade dimension... similary to the nuclear winter mode.
Now you don't need to take a food or drink for survive, because the new system is similary to the walking simulation game.

I don't hate it either, It just makes the Hunger and Thirst System pointless (also It's Masochists not Sadists)

Yes I got better frame rates to not that much but STILL when I fast travel about 20% of the time I still get the INFINITE loading screen. So better frames still crappy bugs that they FAILED in fixing. I fast travel and server hop A LOT.

So glad to hear they removed the need to eat and drink. Will now update my review of the game accordingly
