Keybind issues
I've been trying to map my keys for several hours now. I'm running into a lot of really weird problems even after a complete nuke and pave of everything related to any Fallout game on my machine. Trying to rebind one key will rebind an entirely seperate key instead, for example. Anyone got a fix, or any idea what's happening?

Make sure fallout is where it belongs and not on onedrive which causes all sorts of issues for gamers when windows gets confused where your files are.

Yeah, onedrive has been QUITE thoroughly removed from this machine.

That's good. When I had the same problem you did with keybinding seemingly scrambling before your eyes was also when I had some onedrive issues and disabling it seemed to clear things up (along with steam's file verification). It also wouldn't hurt to make sure you don't have any conflicting drivers in device manager. If all else fails reinstall F76.

you also need to do the bindings while logged into the game and need to exit and restart the game after doing the changes,,,this goes for all game settings.

Well I don't have anything to do with "One-Drive" however I do have a problem with the keyboard mapping. The first is the "E" key which does too many different functions. It opens doors, activates repairs. Stims down players, activates repair of items like turrets during events and then placing, entering and exiting power armor. The amount of time you hold the "E" key determines what function it does. Plus being next to the "W" key which is move forward can be a problem if you fat finger or miss the "W" key you may find yourself out of your power armor in the middle of a fight. There should be a way to map the multiple functions of the "E" key to other keys. Most of the other keys actions are duplicated in the mouse that could be used for separating the multiple functions of the "E" key.

That doesn't help me when I'm watching myself try to rebind, say, automatically move forward, and instead it just rebinds move forward.

Edit to clarify: I am doing it in-game, and it's messing up badly.

I have lost the ability to rebind my sneak keybind.
It has just dissappeared from the list completely

Trust me when I say that you aren't alone on this. It was there, then it wasn't. I traded F076 for Skyrim anyway, but I hope you find the answers you're looking for.

I logged in for the first time since Halloween (still have my camp theme), and all of my key bindings for Directional, Reload, Bash, Scrap, and Loot all surrounding bodies, are no longer bindable in the system menu. It says the arrow keys and Mouse 4 are now reserved. Why the hell are they handicapping the players who don't use the normal WASD format?? I guess there's no reason to return. I'm really disappointed.
