You can't trade modules.
The CS upgrades ever 10 levels at odd levels. My 2nd uses it.
Scrapping double barrel shotguns to get a chance at weapon mods and box mods are how you get them.

BGS made the modules that way to increase the grind and the qty requirement is higher per star tier.

I know. Thats why I just ask for double barrel shotguns for scrapping

Just do the Flavors of Mayhem quest and you'll get the plan - it's part of the main quest series anyway.

Yeah... Bethesda screwed over new players...

But hey, here's more scrap! What? You can't store it all? We have a solution! Subscribe to Fallout 1st for that scrap box we said was impossible a few years ago!

This game is being run by a pack of morons...

It wasn't a problem in the beginning and still isn't today, you just have to stick to certain “rules”:

- Power armor pieces only on chassis!
- Scrap all your junk
- Scrap weapons/armor you dont need
- Get the weight reduction perks
- Don't hoard ammo you won't use
- Don't hoard food
- Make a mule char (you need a friend for that = safe variant)
- .........

If I remember correctly, guns were favored by enemies in the forest, and Toxic Valley. A little bit in the Ash Heap, toward East Side, of the Ash Heap. Plan, see if a player vendor has it, or do daily quest in the Savage Divide. "Flavors of Mayhem" is listed as a confirmed way.

Either Find a plan, and craft and Scrap your way out of trouble with excess materials, after you have learned every scraping plan, then you have to just keep what you need to repair your weapons, armor, and Power Armor.

You can avoid, for a long time, Fallout First that way, or longer, if ever.

If Stable Fluxes don't tempt you, to have too many. Sell everything else, or now scrap to learn the mods, or legendary crafting box mods. Get the ammo converter, and scrap any ammo you don't need, bank the ammo points, use it when you need. it. The annoying part, is that you have to scrap so much of a ammo type, to get ammo points. :cozybethesda:
