If you ask me to do a daily quest that requires harvesting bear meat and the bears don't drop meat when I slay them... why would I do that quest anymore? I won't. You failed.

Never met a Bear that didn't give me a nice big hunk of meat or two in Game or out of game. The trick is use a Black Powder Rifle with bayonet and poke them a few times first and then Shoot them. Either you or the Bear will be nice and Tender after it's all over.

It was the end of a long boozy night and I had both middle fingers up.

I am asking the same question. My brother and I need 1 more deathclaw hide for his pioneer scout challenge. I just killed a deathclaw after so many and I nearly smashed the house over no deathclaw hide.... once again. I even ate luck food and ♥♥♥♥ luck still. I also want to get the legendary bolstering to add more bolstering on my armour. I cannot do that either. I rolled so many legendary effects useless to my needs. I am core broke, Hide broke. But yo, I got lots of ♥♥♥♥♥' meat. deathclaw meat. 1 bear meat and I use butcher bounty.

As as for the hides you can try Deathclaw Island in far west... also a dump site/bunker that's just a deathclaw cave in disguise. edit: it's literally called abandoned waste dump so can't help you further lol.

Dolly Sods and I think it was Site Alpha have regular bears btw. Colonel Kelly monument sometimes too. I have a camp near the Berkley Station which sometimes has a bear. Then it is possible that stretch from Berkley station north to dolly sods may be a good hunting area even with bug meats and parts.

The Colonel Kelly Monument used to have 3 or 4 plus 10 to 15 Ragstads there . The last few months taking a picture I saw 0. Even went there 10 times to get Meat and only a wolf showed up. Guess they Nerfed it.
