Can't login error code

anyone has a clue what error 4:8:2001 means?
i've played an hour ago just fine and now this crap

same brother, says my account isn't authorized, I was playing and it disconnected me in the middle of a ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ firefight and now I can't get back in.

I have the same error while ago i turned off my PC went to shop. Trying log in and getting the same error 4:8:2001

Like wise here was mid game, then score board stopped responding, re-logged and got the above error code.

Possibly Authent servers having issues? or possibly a mass ban gone wrong?

Getting the same error. And bethesdas website says all servers are operational :/

Same thing...I wonder whose genius idea it was to not let you exit the application unless you were logged in? I have to keep using the task manager to close Fallout 76 because it never gets to the main menu.

Same here. Multiple threads on this. Just gotta be patient. The status page has not been updated because they likely just realized it and are arguing who has the responsibility of updating the status page and feeding the molerats that generate the server power.
