I get creative through a window but there might be other strategies.
I've been playing this since B.E.T.A. and still don't understand it... but there is a way with the flat connectors. They are placed outside, attached to the building and they somehow can be linked inside.

Power connectors outside prefabs give you electricity for lights and other electric devices that won't require wiring, just connect any generator to it. If you want to have something that requires wiring like popcorn machine inside a prefab get Advanced Power Connectors plan, it has a conduit that can be wired through walls. You can also use flamer trap tricks to wire stuff through walls but I'm pretty sure it doesn't work with prefabs.

i still can't understand why the conceptors did not place a basic interior conductor and several for big structures.

Nota : it tool me 4 months to discover that advanced connector pipes were not decorative to simulate water conducts, but could be used to dispatch electricity :steambored:
Some camps are like walking through black spider webs with so many power connection wires strewn everywhere. The electric conduits that pierce walls are ok but still look mega fugly imo.

I just wish that any structure could be made fully electrified by placing one power connector on a wall, roof, whatever and joining it to a power generator. Then any item needing power inside the walls will be electrified when it is placed.

Power connectors only have a limited radius and often many are needed for bigger structures, which can get annoying trying to power the far corner of a room which always has no power.

For me with prefabs that have a power connection on the outside often i can just connect the wire from an inside object and it will just connect to the outside connection point just fine. Doesn't always work though. Then i use the power conduit that goes though the wall.
Make the entrance to your "Home" the shelter entrance which has indoor power.
How many of us have tried to line up the pipes for the power that go indoors without success? The ones thru the roof work good sometimes. I might try to "hide" a solar panel indoors and see if it works.
The connectors have a radius to where they'll supply power. If you building is small, you can often make do with connectors you use on the outside. If the building is large, you can use a through-wall conduit to bring power inside and either use more connectors on inside or run conduit.
Position your power connectors so the wire can go through a window.
Nice to see that im not alone. :steamhappy:
Anyway i dont search a workaround , i hoped i just had missed something.
Normally i get quite successful with the conductors that go through walls.
But it would be nice to have it look like proper installations.
Just for clarity lets make sure the op wasn't talking about shelters because that requires a different powerbank.
