how to farm food in public workshops ?
in the description of public workshops is written: Food (6), Water (8) or Food (7), Water (3) and e.t.c.

But.. how to farm this (6) (7) ... food ?

That to collect aluminum, junk, silver, I found the construction of extractors of these resources

but I didn't find any food extractors.

Tell a newbie how to collect food in the workshops.

to build floors with soil and plant it yourself? )))) or in another way?

But if I'll build and sow farm cells, then what is the meaning of the number (6) (7) (8)? How much will my farm produce?

And the second question, if the workshop says (8) water, will water accumulate above 2 in my water purifiers? Or is it still a maximum of 2? (in the c.a.m.p. my purifiers always have a maximum of 2 water, is it the same in public workshops?)

Not sure why food is an issue, but as far as the purified water , just do events you'll have more water than you can use.
Only the food factory actually produces food. I think the rest of those just have a handful of pre existing crops within their limit. Like the junkyard for example, has half a dozen mutfruit around.
just raid someones popcorn machine they got an infinite amount

is the popcorn proper worth building? I never tried it, I still stick to the colas and dog food.
not really no, but for this situation yes its the lightest, and is infinite
I don't think I've ever used a workshop. Only Camps and the underground shelter. Anyways a Water filter in the camp gives you 2 purified per hour. Crops come back every hour. Not sure what the issue is.
Maybe try to hit the repair button when in the workshop ... .

Anyway, not worth the investment to claim and devlop a workshop in public server, I think ... .
Oooooooooooooooooohhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh ok I just realized workshops are the pvp version of the game no wonder I've never used one. :emofdr:

Yes. It slows down your hunger/thirst by 25%, for fifteen minutes. I pretty much live on just popcorn, birthday cake, and purified water.:steamhappy:

huh. I didn't realize popcorn did that. I just leave mine out for people to munch on while they're watching Joey perform.
Being hungry or thirsty no longer provides any negatives like it did before. It was changed so players could basically ignore the hunger and thirst mechanics if they wished to. So needing to farm food apart from the ingredients for some of the better food buffs is not needed. Unless you wanted to do it for your own reasons of course.
isn't it lovely that there is so many foods and drinks in the game something they continue to expand on ( which was already gutted years ago) bugthesda!

"hey ppl aren't asking for more expeditions ... we better add more then eh"
"we deleted the use for food, we better make more food items then eh"
probably just me thinking about it to much haha

Only thing I've ever farmed has been the three copper at the Dabney Homestead. It also does food, and has a bunch of corn and razor grain from what I remember (I don't really pay attention, not what I'm there for).

As others have said though, meh food, it's so so plentiful. Doesn't matter irradiated or not, as radaway (& diluted) is plentiful (and you should be diluting at low level anyway).
