I'd suggest any form of improvement... literally someone with a level 5 10mm pipe pistol wouldn't spend that long clearing any area...
As far as you exploring it for giggles goes, sure you do you... but aside from a VERY FEW select main quests none of them take nearly that long
Typical responses because its common sense. While there are few exceptions, you don't pause or save an online multiplayer game. While this game does play more like a single player game, in the end it is an online multiplayer game.
The game was built as a time sink. You're expected to play as long as possible.
Just check some of the weekly or daily challenges. Go collect mirelurk eggs, which only a handful spawn per server and fight with hundreds of other people to collect them. Pure time sink.
I was serious. I love Wordle, and it's not time demanding.
Because you are not ready to play online games, you think this is like another single player game, but like world of warcraft, elder scrolls online, or any other mmo you'll know, this game was made to play in real time and all time you want, yup, you cant save or pause.
Want the features single player games have? then go and play this single player games, this is a multiplayer game.
I beg to differ. Eli Wallach and Lee Van Cleef were awesome in that movie.
which it btw is
100%
"too often these games try to do..."
WRONG
coop online game it says in the description
RTFM
coop means playing in a team
teamplay means dividing chores so everyone enjoys the game AS INTENDED
but hey
you can still drive a car with 3 flat tires
it's like complaining about a game when your speedrunning attempt failed
... quick save.. .. sure... so .. well ... urgh
i just ... how would that work for the Other players in that world ...

you want pause:
build a shelter and move thAt around as part of a mobile camp
place
Sudoku.
Deciphering Yak's comments. That one actually might take longer.
Why is the problem the game? If the game is meant to be played for a period like *any* fallout game excepting Shelter, why would you try to do 30 minutes? I have, for certain, to complete a few dailies, etc. But that's really not any Open World game, either.
The problem is the genre you're looking at? Maybe not RPGs in general unless they're stuff like Realm of the Mad God. Most action RPGs are built off Adventure and Action; one is long and involving while the other to keep the lengthy story building exciting.
If you want a game to do LESS then don't get anything that has any sandbox element? I was fairly certain this post was facetious as I don't know of many if any online games that have pause functions. This was a post to make fun of trolls, right?
