how to acquire fuel

Farm the acid site as ore site and hunt beast to get even more , between 6-8 acid in each dead corpse , in a while u will see the difference

Shop, farm, scrap and craft.

Edit; Once you have some fuel, have your flamer equipped as much as possible. The contextual ammo drop is insanely high right now.

Does Flamer Fuel drop from mobs like regular ammo does? Since the change I have more ammo for the weapon I use than I will ever need.

Daily Ops and/or Expeditions are the easiest way to get ammo.

yes all ammo drops are now contextual meaning ammo will drop for the weapon your holding unless its melee then its random ammo

There is a very and i repeat very simple solution, join the Uplink OPS, repair 1 signal repeater , find a good spot and kill all enemies and you have literally tons of flamer fuel in no time. Unless.... you are a low lvl player but that is unknow for me.

Equip weapon and scrounger perk.

Go to Camden Park and Pleasant Valley/Top of the World.

Kill Scorched for easy kills and drops.

Run around looking for green containers, ammo boxes, duffel bags, steam trunks etc. Look up high on rooves and guard towers.

Come away from a farming run with hundreds of ammo to use at events/quests etc.

Once low, rinse and repeat (could also loot list reset and server hop).

Other noticeable mentions are Sons of Dane and Welsh for plentiful green containers.

Treat the flamer like a semi automatic instead of automatic and you will have enough ammo. Mobs die in 1 or two clicks anyway no need to keep it held down. Daily ops will give you more then enough ammo

method 1 : Do some daily ops and let people kill , grab some free fuel
method 2 : craft flamers low level ones - get fuel too
method 3 : convert ammo to fuel with the ammopoints machine
method 3a : avoid crafting flamer fuel by hand , ♥♥♥♥♥ too expensive
now you have easy tine getting fuel

Run the ops with a flame thrower in your hand, loot everything. As long as you don't go ham when murdering things you should come out 1-2k fuel in the green. Rinse repeat. My main weapon is a Vamp Flamer for this reason.
