Several things about this post which seems to be trying to deter newer players from trying the game. One, the games scaling can be a bit challenging at the beginning maybe from levels 1-50 but if you're 'max level' and still struggling then that isn't the game it means you aren't utilizing your perk cards/build and are more than likely using a random assortment of cards and weapons that do not help you at all. Second, I have played through the main questline a couple times and there are only TWO spots where I recall ever having a hard time with a quest and those were with the Rosie questline and the last main quest on the raider side. Aside from the random npc pose or dialogue pause there are few 'gamebreaking' bugs that prevent you from continuing or forcing a reload.

Everything they said is utterly wrong and incorrect of how the game works. There is no way is at max level and still struggle with storyline.

Yes it's 100 percent true, in fact you will find numerous discussions on game scaling once a player hits 50, why you would attempt to perpetuate this lie is beyond me.
"100% bullsh"
sure

I realy feel, that steam should stop people from posting who do not even own the game on steam, there is just to many people posting total troll posts at times, not just for this game, but for pretty much all games out there.

Actually, developer can set the forums to prevent users who don't own the game to post anything. But many of them decides not to.
in fact, I feel that developers should set it to enabled everytime low effort clowns come flooding.

Look up scaling.
I'm assuming benefit of the doubt here, OP. You are misinformed on a number of things and it makes your post sound like trolling with the attempt to scare away new players. I will assume that is not your intent, and if so please edit/remove your initial post. *Other folks probably already reported the post but am withholding ftm. Been a busy week/end for Mods.

OP I understand you're frustrated but there are a few things here that sound misleading and I'm going to give some input.

First off, if you're dumping ammo into enemies or dying a lot then maybe you should consider what perks you're using and what weapons you're using. I never had to resort to melee with a character that wasn't built for it especially now with how abundant ammo is in game. Ask for help if necessary.

Also for the record I've gotten 5 characters to over level 100 with different builds ranging from 2H melee, heavy guns, and shotguns to single shot pistols and automatics.

Also the quest bugs you're referring to aren't in every single quest, they are generally uncommon from my experience and I don't think a single one has taken away hours of my time.

The notorious raider bug that I'm thinking of is instanced and happens relatively early on in the instance. Will it burn you for 5-15 minutes of your life, yeah probably, but it shouldn't be hours. Non-instanced quests are afaik pretty solid and any bugs you run into have work-arounds or fixes.

If you would like help around the issues you've encountered and a better understanding of the game so as to actually enjoy the time you have so far invested, let us know. Or just listen to people more senior than yourself by years and literally thousands of hours in the game. I'd rather not see you banned but all you're accomplishing is promoting obvious misinformation and creating unnecessary hostility between yourself and legitimate community members.

Either way, take it easy :amatoxic: Best of luck.

I've done the raider quest roughly 3 times myself and the only portion I've had to restart is the instance with the drill during the turret section and only a couple of times after I had googled the issue to figure out how to fix it (which was to swap servers and try again, worked every time btw).

I've definitely lost time but if you're dropping a quest to fix your problem then you need to stop, that won't do it. Leave the instance and rejoin it to fix the issue minimally, some of them might need extra steps outside of that.

For the matter, it's less that you're lying and more that you're being aggressive about it and that you're exaggerating. I'd hope that you've done more than bang your head against the wall and get upset about it because if that is all you've done then I'm sure you would be having worse issues than most.

Gothlizard, the user you're responding to is not a logical poster and they are not legitimately responding to what users post.
Anything that isn't purely agreeing with them is just going to be used as ammunition to fight with the forum and garner awards for no purpose other than personal satisfaction.

Don't waste your time with it.

Oh, I'm not worried about anything like that. I just want people who read this to not be discouraged and be stuck on something that they can definitely work around. If I can help someone or clarify information then I will.

despite all of this people can still like the game and play it, not hardcore like you, because they dont care and will never even reach level 50+ .
