Yeah, that's exactly what I did, thanks for the help! Especially with the Doom 64 thing, I never would've found out what that email was.
People had this happen with Steam + Red Dead 2; they launched the game for first time from Steam and because of that it magically made some new Rockstar account link occurred essentially creating a new Rockstar account with your steam name or email name that you now don't even know or can log in to. You would have to contact Bethesda, provide proof of your Steam account (such as the Steam associated Steam ID# & Email) and have them do an unlink of that Steam account so you can then link YOUR steam to YOUR bethesda account.
