Question about lore?

I know it's not the same game but the exterior of Atlantic city and the plant like mutants seem to be similar to that of fonv vault 22 only difference is the Atlantic city plant mutants are more evolved is there any connection to the experiments of the botanical?

Well its not exactly stated that much, only that the overgrowth spread to AC from the Pine Barrens. I have not gone that far into the lore yet, but I do believe they will expand it further with the new map expansion.

Several vaults were equipped with the same flawed G.E.C.K. and while the GECK does create an abundance of life it comes out flawed everytime due to lack of safeguards.

Fallout 76 is not connected to the Lore Canon of any Game or Show. If you follow 76 to the end, you discover there's no logical way this place is part of Canon. 76 is its own pocket reality. Nothing relates to anything other than FO76 here.

I prefer just to follow the cannon lore of the fallout time-line yet i still love fo76 I know that the fallout show is cannon meaning follows the fallout time-line of the lore finding out that vault-tec were the mastermind behind everything even are the one's who caused the nukes and mutations in the first place surprised me heck vault-tec are more evil then the enclave.
